setting my default like reaction to the paws emoji hasn't had any weird interactions. It's not like I misclicked liked a post with paws for something that it didn't exactly fit in?

means a lot of different things; you could argue that the autocorrect that has been in Microsoft word for 10 years is "AI"

Given that broad definition, it is possible that in 10 years AI will in fact be a US $100 billion/yr industry, although that "AI" may not look at all like LLM

or maybe AI will be a nothingburger

but if AI is $100Bn/yr, will even one of the hundreds of people who have sarcastically dismissed AI as worthless hype BS, will even one of those people apologize ???

LOL

@failedLyndonLaRouchite

the market for AI tech was about $40 billion in 2022 and $200 billion in 2023

Bloomberg projects it to grow to $1.3 trillion by 2032

well I am , as is so often sadly the case, already out of date

thanks for the update/correction

Until high school, Kate Feiffer believed that her mother Judy's novel, "A Hot Property," was about real estate. Then a boyfriend plucked the book from the shelves, started reading passages aloud, and revealed it was a piece of 1970s erotica. From then until just a few years ago, Kate considered "A Hot Property" to be her literary Waterloo — the book she'd hoped to conquer but never been able to. But on her mother's death, she picked up the novel and — between bouts of screaming and cringing — found something more thoughtful and reflective than she was expecting. Here's what she wrote for LitHub.

@CultureDesk @bookstodon When you look into it, an impressive number of people -- otherwise famous and not -- wrote '70s erotica under pen names.

Hi! I'm back from RustNL! Taking it light today (definitely still exhausted) but I'm feeling ready for another . Let's take a look at the PRs that our community has made and reviewed for us this week :) There was a request to check the website repo, so let's start there! 9 PRs are ready, so that's a great call: https://github.com/bevyengine/bevy-website/pulls?q=is%3Aopen+is%3Apr+label%3AS-Ready-For-Final-Review
